By the car I'm with my suitcase
I'm desperate to escape from this place
Numb inside, I'm desensitized
Was forgiving you a mistake?

But must we endure this?
Does love require the sacrifice?
Will all still be alright in time?

I can think of all the times
You told me not to touch the light
I never thought that you would be the one

I couldn't really justify
How you even thought it could be right
Cause everything we cherished is gone

And in the end, can you tell me if
It was worth the try, so I can decide

Leaves will soon grow from the bareness of trees
And all will be alright in time
From waves overgrown come the calmest of seas
And all will be alright in time
Oh you never really love someone until you learn to forgive

Try as hard as I might
To flee the shadows of the night
It haunts me and it makes me feel blue

But how can I try to hide
When every breath and every hour
I still end up thinking of you?

And in the end, everything we have makes it worth the fight
So I will hold on for as long
As leaves will soon grow from the bareness of trees
And all will be alright in time
From waves overgrown come the calmest of seas
And all will be alright in time
Oh you never really love someone until you learn to forgive

I never thought that I would see the day
That I'd decide if I should leave or stay
But in the end what makes it worth the fights
That no matter what happens we try to make it right

We grew up and learned
That trusting will hurt
I guess we survive by expecting the worst
May we all receive the love we're so selflessly willing to give

Convince me again, that

Leaves will soon grow from the bareness of trees
And all will be alright in time
From waves overgrown come the calmest of seas

And all will be alright in time
Wounds of the past will eventually heal
And all will be alright in time

'Cause all of this comes with a love that is real

I said all will be alright in time
I said all will be alright in time
I said all will be alright in time
All will be alright in time

Oh, you never really love someone until
You learn to forgive
You learn to forgive
Learn to forgive

"Ending our 5 years of marriage the same day as the release of leaves reimagined. And shall I say that all will be alright in time? I miss being surrounded with friends during difficult times like this, I don't even have the courage to tell them how broken I was. I'm trying so hard to be ok for my children."

""may we all receive the love we're so selflessly willing to give" 💞 to everyone questioning their worth because of countless heartbreaks, may this line remind you that the love you deserve will come at the right time. please help yourself to heal from your past and stop reconnecting with those who have hurt you. you're worth it, always in all ways."

"When I was still in the seminary, Ben&ben saved me and my vocation, because in the moments when prayer felt dry and discernment felt heavy, their music reminded me that it’s okay to be human, to be confused, to accept, and to be yearning for Someone higher than us. Thanks for saving lives again! All will be alright in time!🍃"

"We keep telling ourselves, “All will be alright in time.” We believe it. We heal. We move forward. We learn to live with what once hurt us. Then, we're here again, the same ache, the same memories, the same questions. From telling ourselves, “All will be alright in time,” to quietly asking, “Will all still be alright in time?” Maybe healing was never about never hurting again. Maybe it’s about learning that even when the leaves fall, there is still a season waiting for them to grow again. May we receive the love we’re so selflessly willing to give. And may, in time, we finally realize that we deserve it, too. 🍃 Yakap!"

""May we all received the love we selflessly willing to give" thank you for reminding us this that the need for reciprocation isn't selfish sometimes you just want to genuinely experience the same treatment and love you fully give🥺"

"Leaves (Reimagined) reminds us that some people and moments may leave our lives, but the memories and lessons they leave behind remain with us. It also reminds us that letting go is painful, but sometimes, it is part of growing, healing, and moving forward. All will be alright in time🎶"

"The person who is reading this, I pray for your wellness, health and peace, whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overnight, and the doubt exit your mind. May clarity replace confusion. And you live a happier l🙏"

"I grew up believing that everything happens for a reason. That things fall into place at the right time, and that even endings have a purpose, even when we cannot see it yet. Maybe that is why I have always tried to hold on to the thought that nothing is ever truly lost, that some things are only meant to leave for a while, or change into something we are not yet ready to understand. But lately, I have been learning that sometimes things really do fall away, and not everything that leaves is meant to come back. It is painful to accept, especially when you were genuine about what you gave. When you showed up, cared deeply, and believed that maybe, somehow, things would eventually make sense. There is a certain kind of sadness in watching something you valued become a memory, while a part of you is still wondering what could have happened if things had gone differently. Maybe that is what makes letting go so difficult. It is not always because we want to hold on to the person, the moment, or the chapter itself. Sometimes we are holding on to the version of the future we imagined with it. And I think that is what the reimagined Leaves makes me feel, that little reminder that there are things in life we cannot force to stay. Like leaves, some things fall when their season is over. We can wish they had stayed longer, we can grieve them, we can look back at where they used to be, but eventually, we have to let them become part of the ground beneath us. Not every falling is a failure. Not every ending means that what came before it was meaningless. Some things leave something behind. A lesson. A memory. A softer heart. A stronger version of ourselves. Sometimes even the courage to begin again. So maybe healing is not about convincing ourselves that we never needed what we lost. It is about being honest enough to say that it mattered, that it hurt, that we wish things had been different, and still choosing to move forward. I am still learning that. Still grieving some things. Still wondering about the what-ifs. Still having moments when I wish I could hold on just a little longer. But I am slowly understanding that I do not have to chase every falling leaf. Some things are meant to fall. And maybe my part is simply to let them, trust that their leaving does not mean the end of my own growth, and believe that even after everything has fallen away, I am still here. Still growing. Still becoming. Still here. 🍂"
