"to elaborate more on my earlier comment in this video... I really like how the stylized changes in pupil constriction and dilation is used much more liberally and dynamically in this one to convey different emotions . Like the way it's used here alongside Kaai Yuki's expressions and body language , to convey frequent little bursts of her supposedly more 'raw' or 'unhinged' side showing, is super charming without being detractive imo. (also not to mention strategically removing the catchlight, or the white highlight on the eye for certain emotions too, which is commonly used in anime to convey "hollow" or "unhinged" emotions) It overall feels like an evolution from channelcastation's previous take on Yuki in Zaako, with the simpler use of pupil dilation near the end of the mv. Overall, I think I'm a pretty big fan of channelcastation's specific gap moe interpretation of Yuki, his collaboration with Yukopi in this mv was a really pleasant surprise, and I love how cute and charming the whole video is. I don't want to downplay the work of Yukopi either, I also like their specific style of composing, even if I'm not adept in music theory enough to explain why. ... if I could comment on anything, I love the bass."
